UAE Based Deca4 partners with Black Manta Capital for tokenization

Recently Black Manta capital Partners, the tokenization as a service company entered into a strategic collaboration with UAE based Deca4 Advisory, a specialized consultancy and tokenization studio. The agreement aims to develop the markets of tokenized securities in both the Middle East and Europe with a preferred access to establish distribution channels and placement of security tokens.

According to Mohammed Mahfoudh, founder and CEO of Deca4, “I am proud and delighted to have partnered with Black Manta Capital. I expect this partnership to produce significant productivity improvements for both companies as well as the Security Token community in general.  Looking forward to collaborating on potential business opportunities as well as work   on   the common projects   that would   benefit   and   support not only   the digital community but traditional businesses as well during this tough Covid-19 times we have.”

UNLOCK spoke with Mr. Mahfoudh with regards to the agreement and how will the two parties work together. As he explained, “Deca4 will utilize Black Manta’s strength in the EU region as well as towards regulated entities to access wider region and develop projects together while Deca4 has strong presence in Middle East and Latin America.”

He added, Deca4 will be working in a close collaboration with Black Manta to deliver successful STOs end-to-end.” The main focus of Deca4 is preparing the underlying business fundamentals of the assets being tokenized covering the traditional areas of business planning and legal structuring. He added, “The industry needs more collaboration between the different companies to develop best practices, identify strong underlying projects for tokenization, and deliver success.”
Mahfoudh believes that the regulators in the UAE and region are currently developing the frameworks for tokenization. Mahfoudh says, “We have actually closed and on boarded a few projects in the last two months and we believe the market will see a major growth in the next 6 to 12 months as tokenization becomes more mainstream. This collaboration will hopefully contribute to the development of security tokenization in the region.”  Deca4 was one of the first advisory firms in the region to discuss sovereign token offerings

Christian Platzer, Co-Founder  and  Managing  Partner at Black Manta Capital Partners states, ”Under  the leadership of Mohammed  Mahfoudh the Deca4 team  combines  a broad expertise  with  a specific track record in the digital assets space. Platzer spoke with UNLOCK and explained, “ We look forward to developing the business with Deca4 and take on joint projects where we will work on the structuring phase of a security token offering and we will head the regulated and compliance brokerage since we are a licensed financial services institution in Germany. Together we can support the first local STO in the UAE as well as set up European SPVs or securitization vehicles for assets and entities in the region.”
